NAPMAC is built with a "Privacy First" philosophy and is Notarized by Apple to ensure your security. We believe your data should stay where it belongs: on your computer.
NAPMAC requires access to your Mac's camera to function. This access is used strictly for real-time eye tracking using Apple's Vision framework. No raw video is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted. The camera feed is processed entirely in your computer's memory and discarded immediately.
No raw data leaves your device. NAPMAC does not use any cloud services, servers, or external databases. All processing happens locally on your Mac. The only data saved to your disk is the generated share card.
Every time an alarm is triggered, NAPMAC generates a branded tabloid-style share card. These cards are saved locally to your Desktop/NAPMAC Socials folder. These files are never uploaded, shared, or accessed by us. You have full control over these files and can delete them at any time.
NAPMAC does not use any analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party monitoring services. We do not collect information about how you use the app, your location, or your device identity.
You do not need to create an account to use NAPMAC. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifiers.
As NAPMAC does not collect, store, or process any personal data on its own servers, we are inherently compliant with GDPR principles of data minimization and privacy by design.

By downloading or using NAPMAC, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully — they're written to be clear, not confusing.
NAPMAC grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the app on any Mac computers that you own or control. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the app.
NAPMAC is a macOS menu bar app that uses your Mac's camera and Apple's Vision framework to detect when you fall asleep at your desk and trigger an alarm. All processing happens locally on your device. No camera footage or biometric measurements are transmitted to us. Eye-tracking calculations are performed locally in memory and discarded. For full details, see the Privacy Policy section.
You agree to use NAPMAC only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the app complies with any workplace, legal, or regulatory requirements that apply to you.
NAPMAC is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will always detect sleep accurately, run without interruption, or meet your specific requirements. Use it as a helpful tool — not as a safety-critical system.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of NAPMAC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including but not limited to lost productivity, data loss, or any other loss.
We may update NAPMAC and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may stop using NAPMAC at any time by deleting it from your Mac. We reserve the right to discontinue the app at any time without notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
